Giant Ledge is the best effort-to-payoff hike in the area — about 3.2 miles round trip to five rock ledges overlooking the Burroughs Range. For something flat, the Ashokan Rail Trail is 10 minutes away and works for strollers and dogs.

Swimming Holes
