When can I check in and check out?

Check-in starts at 4 PM, and you're welcome to arrive anytime after that. We offer self-check-in with digital locks – you'll get your code via email on your arrival day. Just text us goodbye when you check out by 11 AM!

How do I cancel my reservation?

If you booked through our website, please email us at stay@the-leeway.com to cancel and receive a full refund of your deposit (if made more than a week in advance). If you booked through another channel, please follow their cancellation procedures.

What's the booking & payment schedule?

For stays of any length, a deposit of 50% of the total charges (without tax) is due at the time of booking. Payment can be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover.

What is your cancellation policy?

For cancellations made more than 1 week prior to arrival, a full refund of the deposit will be issued. Cancellations made within the week of arrival will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the stay. Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival will result in a full charge for the full stay. No-shows and early checkouts will not be refunded.

Is there a lobby or front desk?

We don't have a traditional lobby or front desk, but we're always here to help! You'll find our office at the end of the first building (check the property map). Call, text, or email us anytime with questions.

Can I bring my pet?

Absolutely! We welcome well-behaved canine companions under 60lbs at The Leeway. There's a one-time $75 pet fee. Please keep your dog leashed when outside your room and never leave them unattended.

Is there WiFi? What about cell service?

The Catskills are known for spotty cellular service, so download navigation before your trip. Don't worry, we have excellent WiFi once you're here! Enable WiFi calling on your phone, too.

Can I stay longer?

We'd love that! We offer special deals and packages for extended stays. Email us at stay@the-leeway.com for details.

What's there to do in the Catskills?

So much! Activities change with the seasons – hiking, biking, swimming, skiing, antiquing, concerts...the list goes on. We'll share our favorite local spots once you arrive. You can also check out the Catskills Visitor Center for more ideas.

Do I need a car to get there?

To truly experience everything this area has to offer, we would recommend coming by car. Public transportation and car services are very limited in this area.

There are a few ways to get here without a car: Amtrak train goes to Rhinecliff where you can take a cab – it's a 45 minute ride to The Leeway. Trailway buses pass through the area a few times a day and the Mt Tremper bus stop is a 20 minute walk from The Leeway.
